Sleb

I watched “I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here” for the first time last night. I wasn’t impressed.

But I did howl with laughter as ex Eastender’s chump Marc Bannerman was escorted off camp after his ignoble eviction from the show (for flirting embarrassingly with Cerys Matthews despite already having a girlfriend in tow – tut tut – the public really do not like that).

“I’m in love with two people,” he simpered.

What? Himself and his own reflection?

Twat.

Where did he get that scar on his chin? Don't think he had that in Stenders.

Looks like somebody's tried to glass him or something.

Haven't seen any of it this time round, Steve, though I always quite liked Catatonia! I did hear what Johnny Rotten called Malcolm McLaren for leaving the show before it had even begun!!

We can only hope, Mr Clearbrook, we can only hope...

Hi TimeWarden - damn! I missed that. Are you able to quote from the great man without littering my blog with too many profanities?

Have never seen that programme, bad enough that I watch Home and Away!!

Ooooh Miaow!! Actually I haven't watched any of the current series of "Celeb" although couldn't escape hearing about the Marc/Cerys thing. What a naughty boy! It's true that Senor Bannerman does seem a tad self-involved. Although I'm actually in disagreement with you about the public not liking this kind of thing though, Steve - whilst their behaviour is of course morally reprehensible, doesn't it at least make damn entertaining viewing?

Such a pity Marc's "snake" wasn't revealed in the jungle eh?

Oh dear, here I go.....erm, byeeee!

Ah OC, I'm afraid I must disagree with your disagreement - Marc and his jungle snake were the first to be voted out by the public suggesting that they highly disapproved of his hidden snake shenanigans with Ms Road Rage... mind you, as I haven't been watching the show properly what the hell do I know?!

you really have to wonder about the mentality of somebody who cheats on his gf on TV and is then suprised when she is upset dont you ?
she is well rid.
Hope your baby is doing well steve (+:

Well, Johnny only used two words, both of which were profanities! The first begins with an f while the second begins with a w!!

Very well indeed, Hitch, thanks for asking. He already seems to recognize night from day and now manages to sleep for 5 straight hours during the night. Which is bliss for 2 very frazzled parents...

Thanks for the info TimeWarden - God bless Johnny Rotten: eloquent as ever!

I like the way you call a spade a twat Steve!

Cranford (hilarious) & Annie Lennox (bit self-obssessed) interview for me over weekend - oh dear, does that sound pretentious?

But you'll be glad to hear I'm getting quite into your fave Channel Dave. I'd forgotten how good Harry Enfield & Chums used to be! Moments of sheer genius in it.

Hitch, I suspect 4ft lower would suit his (soon-to-be-ex) girlfriend!

Laura, have to say I'm thoroughly enjoying Cranford too. Good to see Philip Glenister back on TV (though I keep hoping he'll come out with some 1970's style politically incorrect abuse) and of course no period drama can ever be truly accurate without the appearance of Julia Sawalha... glad to hear that Channel Dave is ringing your bell!

"Cranford" is terrific. Julia's looking older, since her last television appearance in "Who Do You Think You Are?"! And, as well as Philip, both Jim Carter and Michael Gambon are putting in tremendous performances.

The railways are still a bloody nuisance, even now! I had to wait around fifteen to twenty minutes for four trains today, at the level crossing, making me late on an important visit to see my mum at the hospital. The ladies of "Cranford" were right methinks!!
